The Annapurna Ghale Gaun trek route is newly opened and short hiking. We can see many beautiful things around the trip. While trekking in this trial we will pass Ghale Gaun. Ghale Gaun is very beautiful village. We can learn about the culture and tradition of Gurung and Ghale community people. Not only this, the unity of people over there will amaze us. In our trek all surrounding will be so unbelievable with panorama view of mountain ranges like Annapurna (8091m), Annapurna II (7939m), Annapurna IV (7525m) and Machhapuchhre (6693m). The snow capped mountains such as Lamjung Himal, Buddha Himal, Himalchuli are also the main theme of this trekking. Since, our trial goes through Ghale Gaun, we will be enjoying with their natural beauty. During our trek to Annapurna Ghale Gaun we should pass several forests where we can see different rare flora and fauna are playing along with different vegetation, many villages, spring water fall, neat & clean valley and many eye attracting views.

Our trek to Annapurna Ghale Gaun starts with a short drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar. Our drive goes for about 5 to 6 hours. After that we will follow the trial of Khudi and bank of Marshyandi River. More Exciting Annapurna Ghale Gaun trekking is considered as moderate and easy trekking. Day 07: Drive from Khudi to Kathmandu

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival and Check-in to the Hotel
The representatives from Nepal Base Camp Treks (Pvt. Ltd.) will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport upon your arrival. We then transfer you to the hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour
Today, you will visit main places of Kathmandu valley. In the morning you visit Pashupatinath, Bauddhanath, and Swayambhunath. Pashupatinath is the oldest and holiest Hindu temple; Bauddhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath Stupa are the oldest Buddhist Stupas. After launch you visit Kathmandu durbar square and Patan durbar square. In Kathmandu durbar square, you visit Kumari temple, the temple of Living goddess.

Day 04: Trek from Khudi to Ghalegaun (2070m) – 5 Hours
Khudi is the starting point for our trek. And today, we are heading for Ghalegaon. Observing the splendid views of mountains including Annapurna and Manaslu ranges, the beautiful river valleys, we arrive at Ghalegaon. Ghalegaon offers you typical Himalayan culture and lifestyle.

Day 05: Trek from Ghalegaun to Ghanpokhara (2150m) – 3 Hours
Exploring the Ghalegaon village and its culture, we hike up to Ghanpokhara today. It takes approx. 2 hours to reach Ghan pokhara from Ghalegaon. You will rejoice the beautiful sunrise view and surrounding mountains from Ghan pokhara. We spend remaining time for village tour.

Day 06: Trek from Ghanpokhara to Khudi (790m) – 5 Hours
After having a beautiful village tour, we return back to Khudi today. We will have the opportunity to witness the waterfall and caves on the way. We can also visit the construction site of Khudi Hydro Electricity Project. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 07: Drive from Khudi to Kathmandu
After having a beautiful Ghalegaon trekking, today we return back to Kathmandu. It takes approx. seven hours to reach Kathmandu. If time allows, you can utilize the remaining time to explore the Kathmandu city or you can either go for last minute shopping.

Day 08: Final Departure We are saying good bye to the Kathmandu as your journey in Nepal comes to an end today! We will transfer you to the airport for your returning flight.

  • All the expenses in mountain over than scheduled itinerary (due to strike, delay or canceled flight)

We will be staying at Hotel International Guest Housein  Kathmandu and home-stay tea-houses during the Ghalegaon  trek. All accommodations are on twin-shared basis during the trek. Twin sharing or Single supplement will be served in Kathmandu.

Nepal Base Camp Treks will arrange rooms with attached washrooms; however, teahouses in some places only have shared washing and toilet facilities. Also note that single rooms are readily available in Kathmandu and the trekking regions at lower elevation but it might be difficult to find them at higher elevations.

Your safety during the journey is of paramount concern while traveling with Nepal Base Camp Treks and note that turbulent and cloudy weather is regular phenomenon along the Himalayas ranges and possibility rain and cloudy.during the mid days.

Any Weather conditions and health condition of a group member, or unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the tentative itinerary. NBCT leader will try to ensure your trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if any required.

As a safeguard we recommend you to add a couple of extra days after your trek before you fly from Kathmandu to your onward destination.
