11 Days Everest Base Camp Trek!!!

11 Days Everest Base Camp Trek a scenic adventure for people with a short frame of time in Nepal, with keen interest to set foot at the base of world’s number one base camp.

making the program fast and enjoyable within (eleven days) trekking in Himalaya starts from Lukla town after 40 minutes flying from capital Kathmandu where the walk leads on the nice pleasant trail. Following Dudh-Kosi River past nice traditional Sherpa villages of Ghat-Phakding-Monjo- Jorsalle.

The walk leads facing rows of prayer walls and revolving bells linked with Buddhist religion. Entering into the deep alpine forest of rhododendron-magnolia-pines-fires and oak trees. Then reaching Namche Bazaar for rest and acclimatization. This village at 4,440m high a great and perfect place for acclimatization with a rest day. Where one can take a hike above town to Khunde Hospital and Khumjung village to enjoy the scenic Everest View or hike Everest view hotel (one of the highest hotel in the world).

Everest which towers high above 5,364 m / 17,701 ft with views of massive Khumbu Icefalls and glaciers.

Enjoying the beauty of surrounding areas in and around Everest Base Camp, as our next adventure leads you on top of Kalapatthar located at 5,545 m high, the tallest and highest spot of this great Everest Base Camp (eleven days) trekking. Marvel the glorious scenery of mountains and glaciers with close views of Mt. Everest and then walking back to Lukla on the same scenic route for the flight back to Kathmandu with an amazing and incredible time of great experience on Everest Base Camp (eleven days) trekking.

 

Our Brief Itinerary (This Is Just For a General Idea Only)

 One (1): Kathmandu-Lukla-Monjo

Today We Fly to Lukla (2,820 m ) Takes Approximately 35 minues from Kathmandu and 20 Minutes Via Manthali Ramechhap. Overnight Monjo (2,860 m ) 4-6 Hours Hike From Lukla Airport Gate.

 

Two (2): Monjo-Namche Bazaar.

Trek From Monjo to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) takes 3-4 Hours and Explore Around the Top View Point Of Village For  The Spectacular Himalayas View Including Mount Everest After Hygienic Lunch.

 

Three (3): Namche Bazaar-Khumjung-Khude-Namche.

Hike to Everest View Hotel Either Khumjung Via Khunde  Hospital and back to Lodge Overnight.

 

Four (4): Namche-Tengboche.

Trek to Deoboche 3,760 m via Teangboche Oldest Monastery (3,867 m)  4-6 Hours Walking Overnigh Sherpa Accommodations Lodge

 

Five (5): Pangboche-Somare-Dingboche Village.

Trek to Last Settlement Of Shepa Community Dingboche (4,260 m)– 5-6 Walk with Lunch On way Either Dingboche.

 

Six (6): Thukla-Lobuje.

Our Trek Continue to Lobuche Camp ( 4,930 m ) 5-7 Hours Walking Slowly (We High Advice To Walk Slowly As Possible.

 

Seven (7): Lobuje-EBC-Via Gorakshep-

Trek to Everest Base Camp 5,364 m and return to Gorakshep (5,180 m ) 6-8 Hours .

 

Eight (8): Hike to Kalapatthar-Gorakshep-Pheriche.

Today Early In the Morning We climb Kalapathar Peak ( 5,545 m) For Morning sunrise View Over Mount Everest (8,848 m) and rapidly walk down to Pheriche (4110 m) Approximately Time 7-9 Hours Together Including Lunch Break At Thukla Camp.

 

Nine (9): Pangboche-Tengboche-Namche.

After Hote breakfast slowly trek back to Namche Bazaar Guest House. Overnight at Lodge.

 

Ten (10): Monjo-Phkding- Ghat-Lukla.

Final Trek to Lukla Take around 6-8 Hours including your lunch along the way at Phakding Either Thado Koshi. Reconfirm our fly back to Kathmandu on next day morning.

 

Eleven (11): Lukla-Kathmandu Via Ramechhap Manthali Airport Either Direct.

Please Note That Flight Schedule from Lukla to Kathmandu some time Delayed or cancel for next day too.Make sure you have couple of days if you planning this trip. Time schedule of Fly back to Kathmandu could be changed by domestic airlines and pressure passengers to fly via Manthali Airport which is beyond our control.

Itinerarys

Day 01: Fly to Lukla 2,820 m (30 mins flights) and trek to Monjo 2,860 m - 05 hrs.

Morning flight to Lukla with views of Mt. Everest and arrays of peaks during 30 mins flight to

Lukla, where first day walk starts to reach overnight stop at Monjo village.

Walk is easier on downhill path with short ups past several Sherpa villages and into coniferous

forest with tall rhododendron-pines and oak trees following Dudh-Kosi River and past Phakding

to Monjo.  

Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m - 06 hrs.
Today a long climb to reach Namche Bazaar, at first entering Sagarmatha National Park entrance near Monjo village, (Sagarmatha for Everest in Nepalese and Sherpa calls Chomolungma in both languages means 'Great Mother').

From here pleasant walk on river bed leading to a climb for few hours into forested areas with views of snow capped peaks, as our walk reaches you at Namche Bazaar.

At Namche afternoon free to explore streets of Namche Bazaar full of shops, stores and many good restaurants with bakeries, Namche holds Saturday Market once a week.

Day 03: A day at Namche Bazaar hike to Everest View Hotel and Khumjung, Khunde.

At Namche acclimatization day with hike to Everest View Hotel above 3,880 m high offers tremendous views of Mt. Everest-Lhotse and Ama Dablam with other lesser peaks, walk leads to a climb to reach at Syangboche with a small old airstrip and run ways.

From here walk is easier with gradual climb up to Everest View Hotel, the first of its kind around Khumbu and Everest areas, built in early 1970’s using Syangboche airstrip to bring its clients and customers.

This nice deluxe hotel offers amazing views of Everest located within nice forested areas above Khumung and Khunde village.

Options of walk to Khumjung and Khunde villages located on a glacial valley beneath the holy peak Khumbila (patron god of Khumbu Sherpa), walk downhill to Khumjung visit its old monastery which treasures a scalp believed to of Yeti in glass box.

From here walk to Khunde village on the same valley visit the only hospital of Khumbu region built by late Edmund Hillary Trust, after a pleasant walk return back on downhill trail to Namche Bazaar.

Day 04:  Trek to Deoboche 3,760 m via Thyangboche Monastery 3,867 m - 05 hrs.

From Namche walk up to Namche ridge with excellent views of Everest, Ama-Dablam and other adjoining peaks, after a climb walk leads on gradual and scenic winding path then on downhill to Imjatse River to reach at Phunge-Tenga for lunch, afternoon with uphill climb into tall rhododendron, pines, fir forest with grand views of snowcapped peaks.

After few hours of scenic climb reaching at Thyangboche Monastery, enjoy marvelous views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Kangtenga, Tharmarserku, Kongde with magnificent
Mt. Ama Dablam, afternoon time to explore Thyangboche monastery of great interest and observing young monks and priest with prayer chanting that fills this beautiful environment.

Thyangboche surrounded with lovely green woods, holds an important colorful festival Mani-Rimdu every year in the month of October as per Buddhist Luna calendar.

With visit of the monastery a short walk downhill brings you at isolated spot in Deoboche amidst woodland of rhododendron and pines tree lines.

Day 05: Trek to Dingboche 4,260 m - 05hrs.

Morning walks downhill to reach Imjatse River, crossing the bridge and then into an open country where tree lines fade, and then uphill to Pangboche village at 3,900 meters.

Pangboche last permanent village on route Everest Base Camp, Dingboche and beyond, from here a slow climb to Somara for lunch and continue to walk with a short climb to Dingboche village for an overnight stop, located on scenic wide Imjatse valley with excellent views of Ama Dablam North Face with stunning Island Peak.

Day 06: Trek to Lobuche 4,930 m - 05 hrs.

After a nice and pleasant stop at Dingboche, morning walk leads to a short steep climb with excellent views of peaks and then walking on the gradual uphill trail to reach Thugla for lunch, where massive Khumbu glaciers melt into raging rivers.

Here path from Pheriche and Dingboche joins on route Everest Base Camp, after a break a steep climb for an hour to Thugla pass, where you can see stone memorials of unfortunate climbers who died climbing on Mt. Everest, Lhotse or other high mountains. From here a nice walk to Lobuche for an overnight stop.

Day 07: Trek to Everest Base Camp 5364 m and return to Gorakshep 5,180 m - 06 hrs.

Today our adventure takes you at Everest Base Camp our main goal and highlight of the trip walking for few hours with a short steep climb in between glacier and moraine, then reaching at Gorakshep, beneath the lofty peak of Pumori and Kalapatthar rocky hill.

Walk continThe walk towards Everest base camp, at base camp enjoy views of massive Khumbu Ice Fall and glaciers, after an exciting time with the experience of a lifetime retrace the journey back to Gorakshep for an overnight stop.

Day 08: Hike to Kalapatthar 5,545 m and walk to Pheriche 3,210 m - 05hrs.

Early morning climb on top Kalapatthar at 5,545 m, the highest point of the adventure with a fantastic panorama of mountains facing Mt. Everest at close distance.

After a great moment with excellent views descend back to Gorakshep for breakfast and continue to walk to Thugla, from here downhill to Pheriche around the windy valley.

Day 09:  Trek to Namche Bazaar - 07 hrs.

Walk leads on easy path with short climb and descend to Pangboche village and then on same route from Pangboche onward to reach scenic Thyangboche Monastery, allowing you with more time on this beautiful spot for more views, from Thyangboche walk downhill to a river with uphill for an hour, and then with nice pleasant walk back to Namche Bazaar for overnight stop.

Day 10: Trek to Lukla - 06 hrs.

From Namche, our last day walk of the adventure leads to a long descend on the same route towards Sagarmatha National Park entrance to reach at Monjo village, from here on the gentle gradual trail crossing bridges to reach Phakding.

From Phakding on the way to Lukla with few ups and downhill with a last and final climb of an hour to Lukla for last overnight stop in Khumbu and Everest region.

Day 11: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.
Morning transfer to Lukla air terminal for exciting flight to reach back into hustle and bustle city life of Kathmandu where our program to Everest base camp eleven days trekking completes.
