Chulu West stands high within Chulu groups of peaks which includes Chulu East-Chulu Far East, Chulu Mid and Chulu West, among all the Chulu’s the west is more tough peak to climb where your positive attitude and determination required, as the climbing grade is PD + the standard means ‘Per Diffcule plus’ taken from French and Swiss Alpine Climbing Classification as popularly used world-wide on alpine climb, the grade PD + includes climbs on moraine, rocks and ice with some technical difficulties to tackle on climb to reach the summit top.
Truly an overwhelming peak to climb at the height of 6,584 m / 21,727 ft listed and controlled by NMA (Nepal Mountaineering Association) where every climbers required climbing permits with Annapurna Conservation Project (ACAP) Fees.
This wonderful trek and climb to Chulu West involves a high Thorang-La pass and then ending the adventure at Jomsom around Mustang area with a scenic short flight to scenic Pokhara.

Day 03: Drive to Syange 1,140m via Besisar – 06 hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Dharapani 1,943m – 06 hrs.
Day 05: Trek to Chame 2,720 m – 05 hrs.
Day 06: Trek to Pisang 3,190 m – 05 hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Manang 3,540m – 04 hrs.
Day 08: Acclimatization day at Manang with short hikes.
Day 09: Trek to Churi Ledar 4,280 m past Yak Kharka 4,210m – 04 hrs.
Day 10: Trek to Chulu West Base Camp 4,700 m – 04 hrs.
Day 11: Trek and climb to High Camp at 5,500m -03 hrs.
Day 12: Ascent of Chulu West Peak summits and descends to base camp.
Day 13: Reserve day in case of bad weather conditions.
Day 14: Trek to Thorang- La High Camp or Phedi 4,450 m – 04 hrs.
Day 15: Cross Thorang La 5,416 m / 17,769 ft and trek to Muktinath 3,800m-06 hrs.
Day 16: Trek to Jomsom 2, 715 m – 04 hours.
Day 17: Drive or fly back to Pokhara and transfer to hotel near Phewa Lake.
Day 18: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu – 06 hrs journey.
Day 19: Depart Nepal for international flight homeward bound.
