Annapurna Base Camp Trek leads to the leap of the world’s 10th highest mountain Mt Annapurna at the height of 8091m from sea level. It is exotically rich in nature as well as in social aspects and passes through a rich rhododendron forest. The trek is extraordinary in terms of the height and depths and the varied ecosystem it provides which is one of the most unique journeys in the whole world. This trek gives a very close experience of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre mountain range. The trail will give you the lifelong experience of the classic Himalayan trails. While trekking on this route, you must carry a permit before embarking on this route. You are not allowed to enter this trekking trail without a trekking permit with you. We need two trekking permits before embarking on this route.
TIM card is for the safety of the trekkers who come to trek in Nepal. Most of the trekking regions of Nepal need TIMs to enter every trekking route. There are two TIM cards Green and Blue cards. This card is mandatory to ensure the safety and security of trekking while trekking in the Himalayan part. It is a must for every trekker wishing to trek in Nepal. The costs of the TIMS card are as follows:
For foreigners Local Trekking Agencies issue NRP. 1000 +13% Vat with 10% Service Charge per person. Blue TIMS Card.
Individual trekkers NRP. 2000 +13% vat per person Blue card TIMS card.
For SAARC NRP300 10% vat with 10% service charge per person for group trekkers and NRP600 13% vat per person for individual trekker.
Annapurna Conservation Area is the largest conservation area of Nepal which has an area of 7629km. This beautiful conservation area is bounded by the dry alpine deserts of Mustang and Tibet. Annapurna Conservation Area is the home of 1226 species of flowering plants, 105 mammals, 518 birds, 40 reptiles, and 23 amphibians. The Annapurna trekking is not allowed to enter without Trekking Permit. The cost of the Annapurna Conservation Area goes to the trust for the conservation.
To issue Annapurna Base Camp Trek Permit must need 4 copies of passport size pictures and a Password photo to apply for Nepal Base Camp Treks.
